Lacuna Coil says - and I quote - “Lacuna Coil von Italy! We gonna have fucking good time!” I am amused. XD

What was not amusing, however, was the crowd’s behavior. They were throwing trash at the people in front of the stage (one bottle actually hit the stage scaffolding when Lacuna Coil was up there, which was not cool), there were mosh pits, people were crowd-surfing like mad (which was kinda cool when they weren’t coming from behind), and there was general mayhem. The band repeatedly asked the fans to not hurt anyone and to look out for each other. Oh, and they threatened to take them off the stage if the bottle-throwing kept up.

Altogether, though, it was very amusing. No room to breathe, hands kept above your head to catch the next crowd-surfer, good music, and sun-activated bleach in my hair. Oh yeah. Good times. What was better was the fireworks! I’m told flaming debris hit by my feet, but I was busy shielding Kira’s face so I didn’t notice. People about five feet away from me were smacked several times with red-hot ash, though - repeatedly. It was great. XD Afterwards, we ran around collecting firework shells. And spat them out, as we had been oohing and aahing a little too much while the ash was raining down. XD

So then after that, we almost lost Kayla, who had lost the people she came with, and we had had a hell of a time finding a place to watch the fireworks (and then finding the other car full of people), and THEN Riveth lost her wallet, and we had to backtrack all the way back to Wendy’s, which was closed, but the nice people there had it and brought it out for us once we banged on the windows enough. XD And then we went to Dunkin Donuts, and then I realized that I had never told the parents where I was going or how late I’d be out. Eep. I called home, got told to get my butt back ASAP, and nearly threw up several times on the way home. All in a day’s work. Yep. Loooong day. And this’ll be a long week.

Let’s see… I need to pay for Prom tomorrow, which means I need my date’s money as well; Prom is on Friday, as is my Civ final and Prisoner of Azkaban. Saturday Shan-san visits and also the block party, next Tuesday is my final concert, that Friday and the following Monday are senior testing, Tuesday is Class Day and the senior banquet, Wednesday is graduation, and at some point there’s the music department senior banquet. Whew.

*ahem* That is to say, not only did I get a Sephiroth Advent Children wallscroll (!!) but I also got the green snake that had been promised me for my birthday! (!!!!!!) *holds in girlish squealing* She (he?) is the cutest thing EVAR and it adores my body heat and yesterday I was setting up the cage so I had no free hands to hold her, so she climbed on my head, but then she fell (luckily onto my shoulder) and decided she wasn’t going to try that again - so then she wrapped around my neck! I had a snake choker! Kyaaah! So cute! *wibble*

Right now she’s a little chilled, so I turned on her heat pad. Her tank is absolutely lovely, but I need to get her barky wood and more plant-stuff. The little plastic plant I got is rather tiny in a 10-gallon tank for a tree-loving snake. ^^;; And I’m not sure how to deal with feeding her. I might have to raise crickets and/or guppies. Hrm. (What’s funny is that when you feed her guppies, you just put them in her water dish. Hee hee! There’s a fish in your glass!)

*ahem* Anyhow, I’m still having trouble with a name. None of them seem to fit. She’s too small for Leviathan, too calm for Snarry, too cute for Zabini, and I’d like the name to start with an S or a Z and be sibilant. Any suggestions? I’m fresh out.

DSC gets something like 200 hits a week, yanno. That’s cool. I get something like 10 hits from non-direct-linking, most of which come from my archives, which probably come from a search engine. I wish I knew what they were looking for.

Anyway. I’m insanely bored. I am so bored I’m listening to Christmas music. I should do other things… But I already wrote my paper, and I haven’t got any other homework, and cleaning is just awful, and I’m too bored to write or even make avatars. Sigh. And it’s only one. Nine more hours until I sleep. NYAR!

But hey, I found some wicked cool hats I want to get for people. Like, a Kumagoro hat and a panda hat! I think we all know who would want those hats. XD I want the mog and Kuronekosama, myself.

I was watching TV and all of a sudden an ad for Prisoner of Azkaban came on. It’s not fair! How can they torment me like that out of the blue?! *sniffle* I want it to be the 4th now. (And I’d really like it if the pretty song didn’t make me bawl. I wanna hear Snape be evil.)

So, apparently I have seven readers. Cool. I basically have this blog for the hell of it, then. Right-o. I miss Switchknife already. *sniffle* I hope it comes back. Real life sucks sometimes.

Graduation is coming up fast. I can hardly believe it, yanno? And I’m gonna make it! I’m actually going to graduate! I feel special. Prom’s coming up a little fast, though. I don’t think I’m looking forward to it, but I have all my pretty prom things already so it’s a little late to back out now. Ah well.

We tried dyeing my hair again, but it’s still blond. Very yellow, in fact. Damn defective hair dye. It was already bleached! How can you not make it lighter?! Grr. Maybe I’ll switch to actual bleach instead of peroxide. But that would kill my hair entirely… It’s already rather dead-feeling. Argh. I might have to special-order a wig. Damn you, Muraki! *curseflailargh*

So, like, JKR has her own website, and it’s really cool. I had a concert that sucked, and Em’s mum is letting me borrow her dress for my prom. I desperately need about $100, and I’m selling off half my worldly possessions. I haven’t slept well in what seems like forever, but I’m guaranteed to graduate. *whew* This is like the State of the Union, ey? (Which is poor and going downhill, if you ask me.) Let’s see… I’m making notes for the writing of the Malfoy Code of Conduct, a Kingdom Hearts fic, and a Harry Potter fic. A new blog layout is in the works, so don’t mind how odd it looks right now. Quizzes are behind the cut. I have an lj account, in addition to the half-dozen blogs I’ve had before. (Xanga, pitas, greatestjournal, PDN…) JKR’s site is the coolest thing since HP.

My brother will be out by the end of the week. I’m under a great deal of stress and general fear. I suspect the police will end up being involved, as he doesn’t believe he’ll actually have to leave. Life sucks.

In other news, Procul His is finished. Has been for a while, too, and now we can look forward to the many sequels. ^__^ I liked Bittersweet Potion better, though. (I am babbling about a series of Harry Potter fanfics the likes of which are comparable to an odd mixture of Tailchaser’s Song and Sense and Sensibility. I adore it. Love.)

You should also read Severus and the Crup, which is desolate but hopeful and entertaining and just… just… My favorite story of all time. Love.
Also, the Civil War-verse is the kind of series Steph-san might read. It’s intellectual but emotional, so involved you could rip it apart like a rare steak. (Am I the only one that thinks of fic in terms of meat? Yeah, I thought so.) Meaning, of course, that it is wonderful beyond my poor ability to express and you will love it when you read it, because of course you’ll read it. Yesss. My precious. (I was devastated for days after reading this, and I don’t think my current fragile mind could stand a re-read, or I’d be more in-depth about it. But trust me, it’s worth the effort of figuring out the chronological order of the sections.)

And that is my blog for today. Other than the entry I kept private, that is. Heh heh.

Yes, PDN is healed. Apparently there was some maintenance (sp?) that needed to be done, and it seems to be done now. Yay! (And next time, Steph-san, make your minions back things up for you, yes?)

I like the memory thing. It brings back such fondness. ^.^ I liked the dancing merchant! I got high-levels to dance with me. Muah. (This is why I want Ragnarok Online. Not for the gameplay, but for the dancing merchant. Heh heh.) And the beach thing? Almost happened. So close. And today is supposed to be wicked nice! And I have to clean! *sob* I have to organize my closet and clear off my floor… And sweep and bleach my walls. Which, oddly enough, will take longer than clearing off my floor and organizing my closet, since I am mercilessly getting rid of books. I regret tossing all those hardcovers, though. Some of those were so old… Like, the Three Musketeers. Not only was it harcover, it came in its own box. *sniffle* Apparently I was too merciless. So this round will be offered to friends, since they’re mostly decent books, and then will be offered to the used books store. Unless it’s like, Bunnicula. I can’t believe I still have a copy of that. XD

Thank you for the juice, Karie! ‘Tis delicious, even though I am well once more. Just allergies now. But damn, do I like the juice. XD I so silly.

Dudes, yanno what all this cleaning means? Come next week, I might let people IN MY ROOM. As Sauron would say, HOLY CRAP. And the Himelayas won’t be there! Although Raziel will, until Monday, when he goes back to school. But Fuuma will be there! (And so few of you know that I am referring to my cellos. Heh heh.) Oh, hey, this is the perfect opportunity to switch the case Raziel is in. The one he’s in now is stripping off his varnish, so I’m rather eager to move him. And then find out if I can repair him, because he was so beautiful when I got him. ;_; I feel so terrible about the abuse he’s gone through, but Fuuma’s tuning peg broke and we haven’t fixed it, so… Yeah. I’m horrible. *sob*
