Argh.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Lisette @ 1:14 pm

I had my first breakdown about college yesterday. Sigh. Well, it was more about massive stress issues, but it’s all related to college. And Dad is wonderful and the best and most loving father I could possibly have, and Mum is equally wonderful. And I loved the aurora borealis. Lovely.

Jeff: Ooh, I read that Amano book. It was shibby. And you saw a Genji print book? Damn, I’m jealous. We have nothing that cool. *pout*

Geo: Everyone wants to make Olan gay! XD And if you keep pumping me full of compliments, I shall have to defer to your sexy braided hair. XD Hawaiian white rapster is an amusing look for you, dear.

Hmm. Not too much to say today. I’m trying to relax, and get ready for the hayride tonight, and get ready for the SAT tomorrow, and get my senior stuff together - so I’m kinda bleh today. I’m kinda tired and hungry. And I have nothing to do but college applications. Blarg. I have no idea what to write my essay about.

I shaved my arms yesterday. Don’t ask. (At least I didn’t pluck my eyebrows again.)

Social Blog

Since I forgot to earlier.

Steph-san: Yes, I am filming a scene from Genji for Lit & Film. Yanno, when Genji’s sleeping with the old lady-of-the-chamber and To no Chujo sneaks up on them and the get into a fake fight over the lady and end up ripping off each other’s coats? Yeah. That scene. I have a To no Chujo, but I am without Genji or the lady.
Poor Olan. Everyone wants to make him gay. XD Not that I mind, really, but still. Poor Olan.

Geo: I wanna cosplay as a female Lancer. Rar. Red armor is badass. As for the contest… The over-21 thing is for insurance and laws and such, as well as looking for actual experience with animals. And there’s no way I could pass for Dad. He’s, like, old and a guy. I am young and a girl. ^^;; But if I could get away with applying under a false name, I would. Arr.

And I’m too sexy for this blog.

Everything I need to remember today:
Shan-san’s email is Shan@hybrid.o r g. (Trying to keep his spam down.)
Senior photos are due Friday. So are quotes, probably.
Saturday is my SAT.
Friday night is the hayride.
Friday is costume day.
I should work on the screenplay for Genji.
I need to find people who want to be an old lady and a pretty young dude for Genji film.
Scan Brandon, if scanner works.
Observe sky for Astronomy.
Aurora Borealis tonight.
Make Christmas list.

I think that’s everything. Whew. Do you know how hard it is for me to remember all of that? My brain is a sieve. Durr. Glad that’s done with.

Oh, and Padfoot wants me to work on my Yami story. Argh. I don’t really want to get into Muraki’s head right now, because he and Brandon would make some strange plot to get Olan and Tsuzuki, but I don’t have much choice. Padfoot keeps going into Tsuzuki mode, which wakes up Muraki like you wouldn’t believe, and last I knew they were having a decent conversation. Kinda. Muraki was plotting something, I’m sure, but Tsuzuki was too sugar-distracted to notice. (We write notes in class while being in-character. It’s like roleplaying, but much more risky. We almost got detention once. ^^;; Don’t worry, Dad, we didn’t really get into trouble.)

Aaaaaanyway. I’m gonna help Wormtail with her Halloween costume, cuz she’s sewing big stitches onto gloves to be Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas, and it’s rough going and she wants to be done tomorrow night. So in school tomorrow I’ll help with the gloves. She said she has to do tights too, though… Ah well, it’s her costume. Mine is just slapped together black stuff. XD Not sure yet whether or not I’m gonna wear it Friday. Probably not. My shoes are kinda flimsy. Don’t think they could live through a day of school.

I’ve been singing that “I’m too sexy” song all day. You’re rubbing off on me, Geo! XD

WHY, GOD, WHY?!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Lisette @ 7:00 pm

Damnit! Why do I have to be only 17? WHY?! This would be my chance! MY CHANCE, YOU HEAR ME?! ARRRRRGH!!!!

Yeah, I’m very upset that I can’t participate in this. Otaku Hunter, man! I am the Otaku Hunter! *sob* I feel so bereft.

Steph-san: Isn’t Olan Durai from Tactics? Or am I being a twit? ^^;; Padfoot told me where the name was from, actually, or I would never have known. I kinda thought the picture looked like Xenogears.

Drawing!

I won’t even bother announcing that I still can’t hear. Argh. I can’t wait ’til it goes away. Durr.

I’m investigating a class at the local museum/art school that involves drawing naked models. …Don’t look at me like that. I’m actually rather creeped out by the idea of being in the prescence of naked people, but I need to learn how to draw real people properly, and my friends won’t pose for me. *pout* You guys are so mean. (Not. You know I love you. ^_^ ) But I may not be able to go to this thing anyway, because it costs a LOT. I could buy a couple good anatomy books for the price of this course.

But yanno, I draw naked people anyway. Pose ‘em in my head, try to make them look realistic, draw away. But it’s a far cry from a real person in front of you, because they always end up bending in ways I didn’t expect. Like feet. Feet annoy me, but I can draw them fairly well. Durr.

Geo, Olan’s hair is one of the strangest things I have ever seen. ^^;; I know, you based him off of that FF guy, but that hairstyle is bleh. I can’t draw it. ^^;; I tried, really I did, and I might be able to with practice, but… Argh. I’ll try some more. ^^;; I really don’t mind it too much, but I might try to draw it down instead of in the ponytail. Much easier.

Umm… Anyone know Shan-san’s email address? ^^;;

Art!

Still can’t hear, and my throat is acting up. And it’s raining, that thin kind that makes it feel like your limbs have fallen asleep. So today is generally miserable. *sigh* My ear is pissing me off. I know it still works, it’s just like someone put their hand over my ear and maybe shoved some cotton in there, too. Orchestra was a bitch. I could barely hear my own instrument, let alone the rest of the orchestra, so I was gleefully playing the wrong notes. Argh.

Anyway. I’m on a drawing spree, it seems, and I’m trying deserately to take the opportunity to improve my style. I found an artist whose style is EXACTLY what I want mine to be, and it seems I’m not as far from that as I would have thought. Rar. I am so cool. So now I have two pictures of Brandon, an unnamed and faceless pose-test, and I shall try to draw Olan at some point. His hair is weird. ^^;; But I might draw Brandon again first, because drawing Brandon is just a step away from drawing a girl, which I’ve never been able to do. Which is weird, because I am a girl, and when I make people pose for me when I’m drawing guys I use a girl as a model. Sigh. I should just draw a boy and give him boobs. My boys are certainly girly enough. XD

Dar. Someone remind me to email KusoKowai to Shan-san. Durrrr. What with my procrastination and my forgetfulness, my webpage will never go back up. (Let’s see, I need to add some more fics, my drabbles, this new art, links, wallpapers, icons…)

AROOOOGA!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Lisette @ 5:03 pm

Still can’t hear out of my right ear, but it’s becoming less disconcerting every minute. The feeling of pressure is annoying, though. Mrr. I don’t think I stabbed out my eardrum, though, so I’m fairly laid-back about the whole thing.

Click here for the prettyness I made for my fellow HP Posse. Go look at it! Yes, you! And then tell me how pretty it is. Rar. I can make deer noises. (Do deer actually make noise? I really have no idea.)

My absolute favorite time of the year is when I have egg nog. I love egg nog. It is the greatest and best substance in the world. I could subsist on egg nog. My personal Heaven would be Egg Nog. Mmm. Egg nog.

Dad’s Dobby voice is like my Moaning Myrtle voice; eerily accurate in a demented fake-British way. We should get together some other folks and make a Harry Potter parody radio play. XD I have such crazy ideas.

Speaking of which, does anyone know where I might find any variation on the FF7 script? I know Steph-san has referred to one a few times on the forum…

Say what?

I can’t hear out of one ear. It’s entirely my own fault, and I’m fairly certain I didn’t do any permanent damage, but it’s fairly disconcerting. Everything’s so… lopsided. ^^;;

So, Trick or Treating is today. I may be the only one here, so passing out candy will be my job. Sigh. Small children annoy me soooo much. And I need to do laundry and such… *whine whine* I’m such a pansy.

I’ve been working on icons lately, and I have a whole bunch of Marauder icons. So, fellow Marauders, if you want such icons for the forum, just let me know. ^_^ Click on the link below to see a sample.

Urk.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Lisette @ 8:22 pm

I seem to have become ill. I spent the afternoon trying to alternately get warmer or colder in my room, so I didn’t really notice that my voice got all raspy and weird. My throat feels fine, but I sound so strange. And I have other general signs of illness. (Padfoot, if I made you sick, I am so so so so so sorry. Gomen nasai!)

On the other hand, I still want to draw.

SUGAR!!!

*licks fingers clean so she can type* Finishing up my cotton candy from the circus. It was so cool! Got a free ticket cuz the color guard was in the circus parade and one of them gave her ticket to me, so Wormtail and I hung out and oggled the trapese guys in the sexy white pants. Rowr. XD And there were tigers! Lots of tigers! And the horses were so well trained, and everything was SO COOL. I wanna go again. XD I hear the tickets are only $8, too, and that they’re here until Sunday.

I keep trying to print the Common Application Supplement for Hampshire College, but the world is against me. Argh.

So today the orchestra and chorus went on our yearly tour through the middle schools, and it was kinda fun. I chatted with some of the little kids while we were setting up. They were cute. XD I can’t believe I was ever that little! Craaaazy. Ooh, and Halloween is coming up! I can’t wait! The hayride will be so fun. ^_^ I wish we could go to a haunted house too.
