Had a barbecue with some friends yesterday. It was fun and I could even say I had a great day except that Clara hasn't been sleeping well for the past few days. And when Clara doesn't sleep well, Papa doesn't get to sleep at all.

My day was AWESOME, despite a rocky night. I was up until midnight studying, and THEN my brother decided to do the dishes and make brownies. The kitchen is five steps away from my bedroom. Sigh. But in the morning I got to talk to my West-Coast bff, and then I did awesome on my ASL presentation and got lots of well-wishes and affection from my classmates when I left early to study for the next item: big test in History! I am pretty damn sure I ACED it. Totally aced it. I am awesome. And then the regular Chem teacher was gone, and our awesome first-semester teacher was subbing so THINGS MADE SENSE, and then I had to go to Chem recitation (why is it called that?!) where I proceeded to teach half the class about rate law. I feel kinda awesome. :D And tonight annoying brother is going out with friends, so Dad and I are gonna go out to eat together! Just the two of us! I am excited for this~

Some Pokemon games let you remap A to the left shoulder buttons, maybe you can remap the arrow keys to the buttons and A to the right shoulder.

You know, Suikoden is 90% controllable with only one hand. More games should be like that. Other than the porn games.

Oh! I've been so caught up in suffering (seriously, WHAT IS THIS NIGHTMARE DISEASE) that I forgot to tell you folks! Dad got a consulting job! It's a 6-month gig that will involve commuting to Boston every day, so he'll basically leave before dawn and come home just in time to fall into bed, but it pays well enough to give us financial security for almost a year and start fixing up the house to sell. This is such a huge relief I cannot even express. And in yet more good news, Monday is the last day of actual classes! Then I just have a take-home essay and a cumulative Chem final, with lots of time to prepare for both. I am so relieved. University is crazy hard, you guys. I am actually looking forward to getting a full-time job again because then I will actually have FREE TIME. Nights! Weekends! Oh such luxuries.
In other news, the burst blood vessels in my eyes from all this coughing and vomiting actually kinda hurt. It's a new experience for me. One which I wish to share with you. I'm kinda waiting for them to like, take over my eyes and turn me evil or something. I am evil 
, good 's evil twin! Mwa ha ha!
...did I mention that I'm crazy sick and I can only sleep in 4-hour intervals and I'm kind of insane after a full week of this horror? It's starting to show, like, a lot.

over here I'm just annoyed because I have to help out for my dad's 50th birthday present. Contributing sentimental memories to a book and whatnot. The problem is I have none of him, since all I remember is him pretty much bullying me. :I

I'm pretty sure I'm living in a bad romantic comedy. I'm dating a girl, due to her lease she's living with her ex. Today we were supposed to hang out at her house, he faked sick to get out of work. Frustrating, but goddamn if it wasn't one of the most masterful cockblocks I've seen in a while.
Oh, I almost forgot. I got my team assignment. In two weeks I'm officially working in the same 12 man group as her ex-boyfriend. When they make this movie I hope I'm played by Donald Faison.
