Katawa Shoujo! If you've ever wanted to try a dating sim, this would be a good one to try: pretty art, great music, English-language, and it's free.

Just saw that, all over it. I have a dating-sim fetish @_@
Kel also dared me to buy a hentai dating sim when we go to Anime North in 2 weeks. I said "Sure, let's do some research!"

I'd say I don't like playing dating-sims but given that pretty much every RPG seems to have one lately, maybe I do. >_>
It's very text heavy. Well written, but if you don't like to read, don't bother XD
In other news, Lily or Hanako~ Hmm.. I'm thinking Lily.

Their path is almost identical, so I went for Hanako first, then reloaded a save near the end and got Lilly. XD I'd like to go back and get the Shizune and Rin endings, because I hear they're pretty good.
Shizune scares me, and Emi is too.. uhh, little girl for me. Rin seems like a good choice. Not sure about.. umm, Shizune's friend. Forgetting her name. As the character himself says, it's hard to tell where her personality begins, and Shizune's ends.

Yeah, Misha. She doesn't have a path of her own. They also never let on as to what her disability is...
I think she truely doesn't have one. She probably just transferred with Shizune, after learning sign language with her. That's my theory.
Err, wait, let me make more sense of that. They were probably friends, and Misha learned sign language from her, taking classes, etc. So when Shizune went to the school, she probably translated, as an interpeter, which the school found acceptable.

No, Misha specifically says during the Shizune path they met when they enrolled at the handicapped school.
I'm sure she must have one, although people's suggestions have been mostly insane. (Autistic? Tourette's? OCD? WTF.) No, I think either she's partially deaf (which would explain why she can't control her volume and why she hangs out with Shizune) or her problem is invisible like Hisao's, like epilepsy or cancer.
Also, speaking of Hisao, I find it hilarious that he's the main character of an ero game, because with his condition he has to be taking beta blockers. One side effect of those is erectile dysfunction.

LMAO, I did not know. That.. that makes it so much better.
This is the most messed up dating sim ever, good times!
.. no wait, that Love Hina one of New Grounds is more cracky.. nevermind.

Wow, I didn't think this game was that well-known.
A few of my friends were talking about how well-made it was and that it would gain great recognition, but then again they're really really /b/iased.
I'm pretty impressed by it, and looking forward to playing the completed game. I expect it will boost visibility of visual novels in American anime/video game fandoms, which is a good thing. Anything that gets me closer to playing Angelique in English is a good thing.

Considering that the only inspirational source of the game was a picture by a doujinshi artist, yeah, the effort put into it IS surprising.
The insane Harry Potter lookalike guy is probably hands down the best character.

Second'd. And once Angelique is translated, they'll move to La Corda D'oro and Haruka :3
