Topic: Social Networking

I wondered recently if anyone here uses any social networking sites (Facebook, Myspace, Bebo etc)

I mainly use Facebook more than any other networking site because MySpace is a thing of the past now, it's not as popular as it used to be and Bebo is filled to the brim with idiocy in the form of spambots
So yeah

So what about you guys? What do you guys use and if you're on Facebook then feel free to add me via my e-mail address

I have a Facebook and an LJ. To log into them I have to click on the "Forgotten Password?" button pretty much every time. I have a list of friends that I never talk to and no entries or pictures.

Have 'em only because my friends bully me into them. :D Don't remember how to log in unless Firefox saves it for me.

Except for LibraryThing. It's primarily about cataloging the books one owns, but I guess it's technically social networking. There's also my Flickr, I guess.

Have them, they're a last resort for checking in with people.

Furthermore if you ever refer to looking at your Myspace, Facebook, or any similar site as, "checking your email" I believe you should be stabbed and kicked off the Internet for being retarded.  I don't send network site messages to bosses and colleagues, so it's not a fucking email site.

I was just thinking of making this topic! XD I admit I use Facebook pretty much every day. I use it for the free games, yo. I use Blue Cove, Pet Society, and Farm Town. They're fun, okay? Pet Society is like having an interactive dollhouse. With antlers.

My mom, dad, and uncle all just got Facebooks too. :D I've actually talked more with old friends through Facebook than I have in the last 4 years combined, so I consider it a good thing all told.

Total tangent - if I want to find someone and I know their full name, their spouse's name, the date of the spouse's death, the person's birthday, where they live, what schools they went to - WHY CAN I NOT FIND OUT IF THIS PERSON IS DEAD OR ALIVE. She disappeared in May and I haven't been able to find a trace of her since.

Edit: oh yeah and I have an LJ and an IJ but I don't think of those as social sites. They are where I put the fanfictions. :D And I have no idea how anyone can look my up on Facebook, so uh good luck with that.

I got a facebook because my friend signed me up, and then sent me an e-mail with my password and such O_O

It drives me crazy how it's the only way I can contact anyone. I really do prefer e-mail. Graaah.

I do play the Blood games, but they disappeared and were renamed, and made me stop, so yeah... back to using it every couple of days.

I have a livejournal I never bother to write anything in, and a Myspace with pictures of hot guys (and one of geo and I hidden away). >> Fun times, right?

I avoid Facebook out of principle. And avoiding my dad seeing what I get up to.

I do end up in a lot of Facebook pics of my friends and they're not the most flattering... yeah. Thanks to the fail of Bebo I just avoid any at all costs. :/
