Topic: The Epic Journey!

OKAY SO I am posting screencaps photos of my recent adventure! Step One was just riding in a Hummer to the train station, and it was not particularly exciting so there are no pictures. But then we got to the station and IT WAS AWESOME. I mean it was dirty and falling apart, but it was like OLD SCHOOL YO. Totally steampunk. I love trains. Even the bathroom was awesome!

That stall's wall are made of marble, dude, and that paper glued to the wall is not some religious diatribe! It is the Bill of Rights! IT WAS THE BEST BATHROOM EVER. Oh and then I got on a train.

And then the train stopped! Apparently there was a tree on the tracks. We spent a lot of time sitting around, going backwards, and eventually switching to another track. And as we left I went to take a picture and STEALTH AMISH PEOPLE WERE THERE AHHHHH

Sorry Amish people I did not mean to steal your souls! You caught me by surprise, I didn't know you were there. Also, about five minutes into the train ride I got a travel-migraine. Keep reading to find out when that went away!

Step Three of my trip was the Regional Rail system in Philly, which was scary and also kinda boring so instead of pictures of that, you get a picture of the most precious carry-on luggage ever!

The rail let me off at the airport, where I spent way too many hours waiting for my flight.

Finally we got on the plane! It was every man for himself, and I somehow got an exit row seat so I theoretically had more room but omg so cramped. D: And the guy next to me would not stop talking! On the other hand I had the warm fuzzy feeling of learning how to evacuate the plane in the event of an emergency.

Okay so we spent like an hour waiting our turn on the runway, and then omg takeoff was like WHOAAAA and then we were in the air! And then WE WENT SIDEWAYS and I was like OH HELLO THERE GROUND OUTSIDE MY WINDOW and then there was turbulence (which made me feel not so hot) and then we landed and it was like, uh, kinda really fast (as in the guy next to me who's like Gold VIP Frequent Flyer was nervous) and we went BAM BAM SKREEEEEE and I kinda thought we might die a little. But we didn't! :D

As I was disembarking, we went past the pilot and co-pilot and some smartass guy was like "hey nice landing" and the pilot said, "If the plane can fly again and everyone walks off, it's a great landing." Which is true! And it amused me. And then I met up with Dad and got hugs and we went over to the baggage claim and I said "hang on, need the bathroom," casually went over to the bathroom, and threw up a lot. It was fun! :D And then we headed home and kept having to pull over because I got motion-sick! saturnine13, I will never underestimate your carsickness again.

So then I was home and I had my cat and I made Dad make my bed (thank you Dad) and I went to sleep still sick and still with a migraine oh and I also had cramps all day. BUT IT WAS AWESOME.

Total travel time: 10am to midnight.

Re: The Epic Journey!

D: That is a hooooooooorrible trip, christ.

The Amish people and Heero-bear amuse me. XD

Re: The Epic Journey!

XD It was horrible, but it was awesome too. I mean, I was in the air! IT WAS SO EXCITING.

Heero-bear is awesome. :D I can't sleep anywhere without him. It's so girly and I don't make a big deal of it, but I can't think of any time after getting him that I was able to sleep without him on the bed. Also STEALTH AMISH PEOPLE. They're the ninjas of the Appalachians!
