So the new volume hit recently. Like all volumes I thought it started well. Hopefully it won't take a nosedive midseason.
Also How could Nathan stick a damned power empath onto a plane of superheroes without some kind of "Give this guy triple shackles" order? I know they're all shut down but it seems silly that you would stick a would be terrorist that absorbs superpowers onto a plane full of people with superpowers.
I officially have no more hope for this show. Yet still I watch it. Why do I torture myself??
I never watch the show... but I do like the one guy alluding to Chrono Trigger all the time. Awesome sauce.

The CBC website had official character blogs, and it was frequently quoted there, too. Not so sure about the show itself, though.
Oh, yeah, I don't read those. Which character is it? I need to pay closer attention now. XP;; That will give me a reason to keep watching.

Loved the first season.
Would not be surprised to see Hiro being a fan of CT, knowing his power and all.

It's Hiro aka "Supah Hiro". He also refers to his dead girlfriend as his "Gwen Stacy" and is a member of a 30 year defunct comic club.
Current season is okay. And it's rumored that Hayden Panetierre and Ali Larter have been asking for their releases from the show, which would get rid of two of the worst characters in the show.

Who does Ali Larter play? I don't mind Claire as a character, although she's pretty useless and makes really weird faces. But on the whole, I don't really see anything redeeming in the show anymore. I keep hoping, but every week it seems worse and worse. ;_;

I think she was in Remember the Titans when she was 12 but yeah. It's not uncommon. The Arrested Development movie is supposedly put on hold because Michael Cera can't fit it into his schedule until people get tired of his one trick acting in stereotypically indie feeling teeny films. Young actors just seem to be ungrateful to the crowds that make them.

Zachary Quinto redeems the show(except for his love story arc last season) a superhero serial killer is just awesome. Plus, "Cake!"
Claire gets annoying as a character because the teenage angst stuff gets really tiring when they dedicate entire episodes to it, everything about her that's interesting doesn't warrant her being in more than 3 episodes a volume, and Panetierre isn't the greatest actress. I mean, the Claire/West stuff was a big reason so many people didn't like Season 2. They could have just had her in the background for HRG's stuff and left it at that.
Ali Larter is the camwhore with multiple personalities in season one and two. She's playing some political scientist with freezing powers currently. She's not the greatest actress, and when she switched to her second character everything involving her got really lame.
Oh, yeah, I hate what they've done with her character, especially since the best part about her first character was her son. XP;; And she has a funny face.
Micah was all kinds of awesome until later in Season 2 and his absence since.
